We helped to plan our new topic about " Long Ago " and made links in our learning.

We have looked after our butterflies since they were tiny caterpillars, today we set them free.

Our tumble trap

In Sycamore class we have been enjoying our minibeast topic. We have been watching Minibeast Adventures on Cbeebies, finding out lots of interesting facts  and things to do.  Whilst finding out about 'tumble traps' we decided to set up our own, unfortunately not much tumbled into ours! Just a snail and 4 ants!

Whilst we begin the Queens birthday celebrations, look who came!

Whilst investigating outside we came across this minibeast beast, an Elephant hawk moth! Amazing!

Hooray, our marble jar is full again so we had a well deserved trip to the playground.

Cocoons

Over the weekend our caterpillars have all made themselves a cocoon and they are now a chrysalis.

Still waiting

Our frogspawn turned into tadpoles a few weeks ago, we are still waiting for them to grow legs.
